The goal of The Art of Counselling is to assist people in clarifying what they want out of life and then helping them achieve their goals.
Utilizing the skills of listening, questioning, teaching, and encouragement, we work towards achieving these goals. The role of the individual or couple is to engage in this process by expressing, learning, and then implementing that learning.
Treatment approaches used include: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
